Roller is heart of a Magnetic Lifters. We use high quality EN8 Forged solid shaft, increasing the life of the rollers & thereby increasing the life of the entire machine. Forging makes the material stronger & more ductile thereby giving better metallurgical properties to the roller & eliminating risk of cracks, bending of roller & breaking of roller. This Roller material & specific treatment guarantees quality of roll (high accuracy), robustness & durability.
Rollers are machined, providing horizontal grooves thereby eliminating the chances of slipping of job during straightening. These grooves also helps in providing more friction to the job and thus helps in achieving better precision. Squaring process can also be carried out using these grooves eliminating the cycle time & chances of Human error, thereby increasing production.
Torque transmission is done using heavy duty gearboxes as well as High Quality Solid Gears which guarantees long life, robustness as well as minimizes the maintenance frequency.

Forging is the process in which the rollers are strengthened by Hot
hammering thereby
bringing its molecules closer & thus making it more robust.
For Example, if we are offering a 200mm dia roller, we are
procuring a 275mm dia & hot forging it to make 210mm dia.
Thus 200mm dia

roller is having more strength than even a 275mm dia unforged roller!
Hardening gives more strength to the Rollers & increases its life
Grinding makes sure the roller is best accuracy everywhere, this ensures
good accuracy of part on all sides & repeatability.
Chrome Plating is essential for preventing scratches to the maximum possible extent on the work piece.
Bigger size rollers ensure more surface area & this better straightening accuracy & repeatability.
Some parts require slower straightening while some parts can be straightened at higher speeds, thus VFD is essential for best accuracy.

Edge bending can be done before or after shell rolling depending on operator skill and choice. Thin plates can be rolled and edge-bent in a single pass.
The cone bending process with the K series is simple. The bottom rolls need to be inclined to achieve cone bending geometry. This is controlled and monitored by electronic microprocessor (on some models).
Our control system also ensures easy and accurate return to parallel setting after cone bending resulting into precision on repetitive jobs.
